We have everything you need for a successful and safe hunt in and around the Puget Sound area. Our Boats & Equipment
Your hunt will take place aboard a Bankes 21’ Goliath duck boat, designed for open water hunting and hunts along the shoreline, we can do it all! Depending on sea conditions and the species that you would like to target, we also utilize a UFO layout boat for a low-profile experience that puts you face to face with the birds offering a more unforgettable experience. From hunting open water to the shoreline, we adapt each hunt to maximize opportunities and success.
Custom Decoys
One of the elements that makes Emerald Sound unique is our handmade decoys. These decoys are made during the offseason every year and are used in the spreads during the upcoming seasons that will bring in your trophy birds. The decoys made are species-specific, used against 12 different species that are found in the saltwater of western Washington. After your trip, each person has the option to buy a decoy for every day booked from the spread that brought your trophy in. However, due to limited availability each season, only one species a season can be purchased per client.
