Hunt Styles
Depending on weather, tides, and bird movement, we use several different hunting methods:

Open Water Hunts
From our 21’ Bankes Goliath duck boat, we set up in the open waters of Puget Sound with custom decoys to bring the birds into range. -
Shoreline Hunts
Using the Goliath with a blind set up or hunting directly along the shoreline, this style provides steady opportunities for several sea duck species. -
Layout Boat Hunts
For a truly immersive hunt, we deploy our UFO layout boat, putting you low on the water for close encounters with incoming birds. These hunts are paired with our handmade, species-specific decoys for maximum effectiveness.

Brant Hunts
Brant hunts are one of the most sought-after opportunities in Puget Sound, but they are highly regulated and only offered for a few days in January each year. Availability is limited and spots book quickly. Please contact us directly to ask about current and future Brant season availability.
